CORONER/MEDICAL EXAMINER
95-122-E     An individual elected county coroner may not become a partner in an       ambulance service which contracts with the county the coroner was elected to serve. [10, 14]
95-150-E     A county coroner may contract with the coroner's father-in-law to transport bodies. [10,31]
92-024-E     A coroner may appoint his emancipated son as deputy coroner. Caution: 25-4- 105(1).
92-069-E     A funeral home may not contract with a county as to the transportation of bodies when the county medical examiner is employed by the funeral home. Violation: 25-4-105(3)(a).
92-125-E     A county medical examiner investigator (CEMI) may have as a deputy CEMI a person who is simultaneously director of a local funeral home.
90-050-E     A county medical examiner investigator may not contract with the county employing him by way of a lease of his vehicle to transport bodies. Violation: 25- 4-105(3)(a).
90-075-E     An elected coroner may simultaneously be employed as an EMT of a county supported hospital.
89-84-E     1. A county coroner/medical examiner (CME) may not charge his own county for use of his facilities for forensic autopsies. Violation: 25-4-105(3)(a).
2. A county coroner/medical examiner (CME) may charge other counties for use of his facilities for forensic autopsies.
88-112-E     An elected county coroner may simultaneously serve as a deputy sheriff for the same county. Caution: appearance of impropriety.
